1940's

An update was sent for Lt. Col. J.H. Cowles, USAF, Ret. (deceased) on 07-Dec-2008: "Served in Thailand, England, and various other countries. Retired in Lousville, Ky in the 1970's. Son was comissioned through Vanderbilt's ROTC program in 1978, and granddaughter received her commission from UAB ROTC in 2008. Lt. Col.
