COL (Ret) Greg Lowe wrote on 9/10/2007: "Effective 1 January 2007, I have made a career change. After 8 1/2 years with Armed Forces Bank the TDY started to get a little old. It was a great transition job from the Army because I still got to work with soldiers and their families every day. The Hardin County Sheriff offered me a job as his Executive Officer. I'm back in my element in Law Enforcement and love it. There is no TDY so I have more time for the three grandbabies who only live three miles away. Brenda and I had our retirement home built (a log home on 45 acres)and we moved in to it in July 2006. After 21 moves in 38 years we have vowed that to be our last.". His email is glowe.hcso@hcky.org

Would like to hear from other Western ROTC graduates from the late 50's and early 60's.". His email is billpedigo@aol.com.

I was a proud member of Class A-08 from Feb to 7 Nov 2008 when all 22 classmates passed the Texas Peace Officer's Exam. We endured classroom academics, police practical training and physical training( at age 64, I was required to meet the same standard as a 40 year old, not a piece of cake but with the encouragement and support of my classmates I made it, including the 1.5 mile run).
