Hope Harbor assists victims of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse by providing a variety of confidential services. Hope Harbor’s goal is to reduce the risk of victimization in the community by enhancing awareness and improving risk reduction strategies. Those affected by these crimes can utilize hospital accompaniment, advocacy services, and professional counseling services. Education programs focusing on risk reduction and self defense can be assessed by anyone in the community. An opportunity to participate in a meaningful and active volunteer experience is available for those who are interested.

Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Inc., is a nonprofit United Way Agency serving the terminally ill in Allen, Barron, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren counties. Hospice is a special way of caring for people (and their families) with a terminal illness at home and in the nursing home. Hospice is a physician-directed, nurse-coordinative program of palliative and supportive care, available 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
