Research Interests
My research aims to impact teacher quality and is broken down into three main areas: 1) the development of educators’ (e.g., pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, administrators) motivational frameworks, the influence of these frameworks on the instructional decisions made in the classroom/school, and the effect of these decisions on student outcomes such as learning and motivation, 2) educators' motivations to teach and the influences and outcomes of these motivations, and 3) the role of educational psychology in teacher education.
