This page highlights some of the recent news and accomplishments of the Experimental Psychology graduate students and faculty.

  • Laura Strain (M.A. 2004) was co-author on a article published in Psychological Science that has been selected as an Editor's Choice article in Science. Laura is currently working on her Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Miami University of Ohio.
  • Anthony Atchley, an undergraduate working in the Cognition Laboratory, will present the results of his research project on older adults' causal learning at the 6th annual Posters-at-the-Capitol event in February 2007. Posters-at-the-Capitol is hosted collaboratively by several universities in Kentucky (Eastern Kentucky University, Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Kentucky State University, Morehead State University, Murray State University, Northern Kentucky University, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, and Western Kentucky University) and is intended to help members of Kentucky’s legislature and the Governor better understand the importance of involving undergraduates in research, scholarly, and creative work.
